The newly formed PTA is made up of a wide group of enthusiastic, friendly parents and teachers seeking to enhance the experience of all children who attend the school. The PTA has already proved to have the great benefit of bringing together parents, children, wider family members and school staff in social settings with the common goal of supporting the school. The principal support we aim to provide is through the organisation of a calendar of fundraising events throughout the academic year. The monies raised will be used to support the schools day to day activities, such as purchasing books for the library, as well as to contribute towards larger scale projects the first of which being the provision of outdoor play equipment.

Whilst we are still very much in our infancy as an organisation meaning we do not yet have a set calendar of events for the year we do aim to hold at least one fundraising event each term. Some of the exciting ideas we have come up with so far for future events include a

• Christmas Fayre,
• school discos, movie nights,
• a plant sale,
• an auction

and of course a traditional summer fayre (bouncy castle included!). Please let us know if there are any specific events you would like to see on the calendar!

The PTA is always looking for willing volunteers to help us deliver our events! There is no requirement to commit to every event or every meeting. Any time you can spare will be greatly appreciated. There are also plenty of behind the scenes roles which may be more your thing. These might include helping with marketing before an event, purchasing supplies, etc. Please do come and chat to any one of us in the playground if you would like to learn more about how you can help.

Most importantly though please support our events by attending, participating and having fun!
